Two years after completing and presenting the documentary to the Kilometro 11 community, I returned to the filmed material. Drawing from these images, I developed a video installation based on the dance footage, introducing a subtle time-lapse effect. This approach seeks to shift the viewer’s perception and immerse them in an altered experience of time.
The dance itself unfolds over three days, during which all participants remain gathered inside the maloca. Gradually, this space transforms into a cosmos of its own, where each individual finds their place. Temporal reference points dissolve…
