UNMEASUREMENT focuses on measurement processes, their inaccuracies and their possible failure. An architect, a scenographer and a musician work together on a site-specific performance, showing the permanent struggle to maintain stable systems in the middle of a barely tangible world. Through a choreographic script of acrobatic movements, light experiments, and the manipulation of objects, the basic forces of physics are explored. In UNMEASUREMENT, the artists perform a kind of reversal of the measuring process – towards a poetics of the indeterminable.

UNMEASUREMENT richtet den Blick auf Messvorgänge, ihre Ungenauigkeiten und deren mögliches Scheitern. Eine Architektin, eine Szenografin und eine Musikerin erarbeiten gemeinsam ortsspezifischen Performances und zeigen dabei das permanente Ringen um die Aufrechterhaltung stabiler Systeme, mitten in einer kaum greifbaren Welt. Durch ein choreografisches Skript aus akrobatischen Bewegungen, Lichtexperimenten und der Manipulation von Objekten werden die Grundkräfte der Physik untersucht. Die Künstlerinnen vollziehen in UNMEASUREMENT eine Art Umkehrung des Messvorgangs – hin zu einer Poetik des Unbestimmbaren.
