Für Réalités Absurdes haben sich die beiden Videokünstler:innen zusammengetan um den Chor “Vokalsystem” durch die Schaffung einer sich im Moment entfaltenden visuellen Atmosphäre zu begleiten. Gemeinsam schaffen sie eine hybride Installation, die digitale Projektion und analoge Live-Bildbearbeitung miteinander verbindet und die die Wahrnehmung des Raumes transformiert. Inspiriert durch den Chor erschafft dieses lebendige Zusammenspiel zufällige visuelle Momente.
Erfinde mich – Club Thikwa
Im Stück „Erfinde Mich“ forscht Club Thikwa über künstliche Intelligenz: Wie verschiebt KI unser Verständnis von Realität und Realismus? Mit welcher Wahrheit wird der Mensch sich in Zukunft identifizieren und was lässt uns dann noch menschlich erscheinen?
Performance Hystérie – la fêlure
Traversée d’aperçus historiques et de récits intimes, cette performance tente – à travers le prisme de l’hystérie- de (dé)faire l’histoire de la subordination des femmes / des personnes AFAB* et du contrôle de leur corps.
En abordant l’hystérie comme une création médicale et la médecine comme une machine performative, c’est l’idée de la fabrique de la norme qui est mise en évidence, ralliant ainsi le destin des minorités construites comme autres.

Eine multidisziplinäre Performance, die sich mit dem Thema der psychischen Krankheiten auseinandersetzt. Mit Johanna (Klavier/Text) und Theresa Zinser (Zirkus), Blandine Casen (Video), mit dramaturgischer Unterstützung von Anika Lachnitt.
Transvermation
Transformation as a process of emancipation.

Transvermation is a video installation, a digitalized Super-8 video accompanied by a voice-over in French and German. The video shows a physical transformation through clay. Transforming oneself, making oneself monstrous to escape the multiple systems of domination. The text was inspired by feminist research and in particular by Paul B. Preciado’s speech at the Academy of Psychoanalysts “I am a monster”, it evokes the question of the body, limited in its binary definition, and the necessary transformation of the same to achieve a paradigm shift. Our body, this place of all abuses, exposed to the mechanisms of domination, must become the battlefield to allow an intersectional discourse. The text breaks the grammatical codes, questions the language as a center of power.

El baile del chontaduro
El baile del chontaduro was first a documentary about the “Chontaduro Dance” in the Colombian Amazon. It was made for the archives of the indigenous community of the km 15 of Leticia, Colombia in 2015. Years later, these images of infinite dances were taken up again and reworked for a visual installation that attempts to recreate the state of trance felt.
